Super stoked on how the interior came out. Still needs a few pieces such as a lighter plug and dome light covers. Will give the new owner something to shop for.

The cerakote work really lit up the engine bay.

This survivor is solid everywhere. Rust is limited to a few wheel well corners.

Well, its done. Here are some glam images. We ended up paining the chassis, wheel wells and under the hood after we saw how trick the interior came out. This gem is now 44 years old with 13,075 on the clock. Everything works, it rolls on 32x11.5x15 BFG KO2's and rides like a dream.

This incredible Cherokee is for sale. It us currently a very dependable daily driver. I have put over 1,000 miles on it since I put it into service, bringing the total miles on this 43 year old rig to just over 13,000. Still need to do the upholstery. I will post up the interior images after...

Checkout how much better the patina looks after I rubbed it down with BLO. Those polished ribs absolutely Pop now.

Here is a shot of the roof after I removed the rack and the new gaskets I got from BJ's Off Road. Amazing what is available for these rigs. As you can probably tell, I had already polished the ribs in the picture above.

Still have not gotten the Cherokee to upholstery, my time and $$ have been pointed towards another project. I did however work on the roof. I was about to rub the body down with a light coat of Boiled Linseed Oil to help preserve the bitchin patina and before I did that, figured I would remove...

Dude... check out the OEM center caps. They have quite a bit of "pock mark" type corrosion but overall they cleaned up pretty good. I have the full set. Will install them soon. Looks like Junior will leave the patina alone and polish the hell out of all the trim for contrast.

You may have noticed from one of the images that we removed the gauge cluster. The only gauge that worked when we got started was the AMP meter. Jake at Madhouse Mechanical went through the cluster and got all the original gauges working. Lots of corroded connections. He also had the guys at...
