    "Gumby" The 67 F100 Prerunner

Update: The truck is still at McQueen. They tell me they will have the rear glass and molds done soon. In the mean time I've started to put the new engine/trans together: 6.0 LQ4 bottom end L92 heads (LS3 with slightly heavier valves) Texas Speed and Performance Stage 3 Cam PAC double springs...

    "Gumby" The 67 F100 Prerunner

Haven't updated in a while. Did a little work disassembling Gumby 1.0. I threw Gumby 2.0 together and dropped it off at McQueen so they can start on their Bumpside glass.

I finally got a clean steel grill thanks to Ryan Piggott, Dan200, and SDHQ. Ryan sold me the grill he had been hanging onto for years and then Dan200 and SDHQ were able to transport it to Parker and give to me a few days ago. I plan on finding some matching steel headlight doors and then having...

    "Gumby" The 67 F100 Prerunner

Picked up some goodies at the Leduc swap meet last weekend for Gumby. Soon the temperature will be down and my shop will slow down enough I can actually get some work done... The few times I used the truck I found that it was so loud in the cab at 60 mph that I couldn't hear the other person in...

Yes, the mirrors are also Autofab. I don't think they list them on the website but they do make them.

What exactly does the tool do? It appears to compress the seal housing but there should be no pressure on it after the nitrogen is released?

Picked up some goodies from Autofab the other day: Mirrors Autofab 5" Bedsides. Looks like I can reuse most of the old mounts too... so fitting them will be easy. Ignore the little tires, those belong on one of my other F100s.... I'm just using them as rollers as I sold the Robby Gordon...

The bell-housing staying attached on a trans swap seems odd. Clutch failure happens more often than trans failure. It can be removed if you remove the torsions right?

Small update. I ordered fiberglass from Autofab, Glassworks Unlimited (after being warned by many), and Unlimited Products. Autofab is already done with my bedsides and they are ready to pickup (In under two weeks), Unlimited Products should be done in another two weeks, and Glassworks has no...

Picked up a 71 for the cab. Came with lots of goodies I can sell or use. While I was in Phoenix I stopped by SDHQ and purchased a bunch of stuff for the rebuild. Mainly a 14 bolt shave kit made by Ballistic Fab and a cool latch for my center console. The floor in this truck is amazing, not...

    "Gumby" The 67 F100 Prerunner

New wheels showed up from Method. Also, found a truck with a clean cab finally. Picking it up next week. I'm on the fence if I try to make time to cage it myself or just drop it off at a shop. All of the good shops seem to be back logged so I may not have a choice. Got around to checking the...

    "Gumby" The 67 F100 Prerunner

I am interested in body mount dimensions for 67-72 trucks, as I'd like to have aluminum pucks made. I may have to purchase a urethane kit to have something to measure.

    "Gumby" The 67 F100 Prerunner

So... been searching for a cab or complete truck as a donor. Found a cab in Reno but I am not sure I want to travel so far. I also ended up ordering a set of Method 101 Race wheels, Glassworks 5pc front fiberglass, and Autofab 5" bulge rear glass. Probably going to pull the trigger on a new set...
