1970 Chevy K5 CST

I am selling my daily driver 1970 Chevrolet K5 CST Blazer due to a military move overseas. This is the second year of the legendary Chevy removable hard top truck, and chevy’s response to Ford and its bronco. The CST package was a rare option for all Chevy models (67-72) that include a factory tach, and in some models, this one included, factory air conditioning. I bought this with visions of greatness, and I almost got there. All she needs is fresh paint and re-upholstery .
Engine: Chevy 350 ci 4 bolt main bored .10 over, KB Flat top pistons, Crane performance cam, GM Performance Crank, blue printed and balanced, Edlebrock performance heads, Edlebrock performance intake manifold, Holley 650 cfm street avenger Carb, and hederson ceramic long tube headers with new true dual exhaust.
Transmission: Muncie SM465 Synchromesh “Granny” 4-speed manual
Transfer case: NP-205 gear-driven transfer
Front-End: Chevy 10 bolt with new manual locking hubs
Rear-End: Chevy 12 bolt, 3:73 ratio, Posi-trac with new axels
Suspension: 4” Rancho leaf spring lift kit, with new shocks
Wheels: American Racing, White Steel 15” 6 bolt, wrapped in firestone 33×12.50 15’s
Brakes: Converted to disc front brakes with new pads, calibers, and rotors. Drum rear with a 60/40 per portion valve with new brake lines
Stereo: Retro Sound replacement radio w/ aux port, 10” kicker speakers
Other: I have the original owners book along with some receipts going back to 1990’s.
Most of the work has been done between September of 2013 and this month. All of the bad spots, ie rust has been removed and replaced. New metal and old metal rust capped to prevent rusting in the future.
